HISTORY
Zambezi Boarding Secondary Sch. is a public secondary school located in Zambezi (North Western-ZM). The school was opened in January 1965 under the name “Balovale Secondary School”, later changed to Zambezi Secondary School in 1970. The name change aimed to promote inclusivity under the slogan “One Zambia One Nation”. Starting with 70-80 students and 4 staff members, it now serves around 940 pupils with 60 members of staff. The first headmaster was Dr Paul David Wilkin.
